About

We exist because
international payments
are broken for Nigerians.

Virtual cards get declined. Informal agents go quiet. Shopping services lock you into their shipping. And everyone makes you wait a day just for a quote.

The story

Paypadi started when Obinna Ani needed to pay a vendor invoice and watched every dollar card attempt fail. The invoice was real. The money was available. The infrastructure just didn't work.

The fix wasn't to build another card product — it was to own the execution entirely. Send the link, get a quote, fund in Naira, get a receipt. No tools in between.

We started on WhatsApp because that's where Nigerian buyers actually are. The constraints of a chat-based operation forced clarity: every process had to be fast, every quote had to be honest, every receipt had to be real.

That discipline is now how Paypadi operates at scale.

How we operate

A few things we don't compromise on.

Outcome, not tool.

We don't give you a card to make payments. We make the payment. The result is what you're paying for — not access to infrastructure that might work.

Honest rate, upfront.

The Naira quote includes our FX spread. No additional fee after you confirm. What's quoted is what you pay.

Automatic retry.

A decline isn't a failure — it's a routing problem. We retry on alternative channels. You shouldn't need to know this is happening.

Real people. Real receipts.

No bots. Every transaction is handled by a real person and confirmed with a real receipt — not a screenshot.

No lock-in.

Paypadi Shop doesn't require Paypadi Ship. Use one without being forced into the other. We earn repeat business by being good, not by trapping you.

We move fast.

15 minutes is the standard. Not the goal — the expectation. Slow service is a solved problem, not something clients tolerate.

Where we're going

Today it's WhatsApp.
Tomorrow it's a button at checkout.

We do this manually today because trust is built transaction by transaction. Every payment confirmed, every parcel delivered — that's the foundation.

The end state is a "Pay with Paypadi" button that a Nigerian buyer clicks at any checkout and the merchant receives USD automatically — no agent in the middle.

We're building toward that. You fund it by using us now.
